Check out the Q4 2023 Manhattan Market Report here. In the last quarter of 2023, Manhattan's housing market faced low inventory and higher-than-usual prices compared to the past five years. Despite a 10.2% drop in closed sales, condo and co-op prices hit their highest since 2018. Encouragingly, there was a 7.6% rise in contract activity, hinting at a positive shift into 2024. However, the slow resale inventory growth is holding the market back, while new developments are speeding up, boosting prices.
